What to expect in Class
Understand the benefits of Improv for your child
-
HAVE FUN
Teach children about having fun through spontaneity, reacting to one another in the moment, and creating comedy, drama and theatre. This allows children to let their imagination run wild, try new experiences, make discoveries, express themselves, make room for “just being silly”, and enhances overall wellbeing.
-
MAKE FRIENDS BY WORKING TOGETHER
Characters and friendships will be created, and each line of dialogue will be built upon by each contribution of each child, line by line to expand the scene. This will add to the action and behaviour, and reincorporate the information presented by all the children working together to tell the complete story.
-
LEARN THE TECHNIQUES OF STORYTELLING
Children are supported to learn the techniques of storytelling, including development of characters, conveying emotions, status, platforms, justification and voice movement.
